Greyscalegorilla and KitBash3D have released two new collections for seasonal 3D projects: Holiday Workshop, featuring 63 fully textured 3D models, and Holiday Materials, containing 121 4K PBR materials.
Together, these collections give 3D artists, motion designers, and visualization professionals more options for creating holiday-themed environments, product renders, animations, and seasonal marketing visuals. Artists can build complete scenes, select individual props for existing projects, or combine decorative objects with materials suited to their desired look.
Both collections are available through the Greyscalegorilla Library and the Greyscalegorilla + KitBash3D Everything Bundle, with assets delivered through Cargo.
Holiday Workshop brings together 63 fully textured, modular 3D models for creating festive environments and compositions. Instead of modeling every decorative element from scratch, artists can use the included assets to build a scene or add specific details to work already in progress.
The collection covers three seasonal settings, each offering a different starting point for holiday-themed projects.
Create gift-focused compositions with wrapping paper, ribbons, bows, and gift boxes. These assets can be used for close-up product renders, animated wrapping sequences, overhead arrangements, and decorative details within a larger festive scene.
Artists can also incorporate individual props into existing environments when a project needs additional seasonal elements without requiring an entirely new scene.

A workshop-inspired selection includes a workbench, paint supplies, tools, storage boxes, nutcrackers, pinecones, and wooden plinths.
These models can help establish a toy-making environment or bring a handcrafted aesthetic to holiday visuals. Arrange the props to suit different compositions, from detailed workbench shots to wider workshop scenes.

For traditional holiday interiors, this collection includes an Art Nouveau fireplace, stockings, garland, a decorated Christmas tree, wrapped presents, and sweet treats.
These assets provide building blocks for cozy interior renders, festive animations, and seasonal visual storytelling. Artists can adapt the arrangement to match their project's composition, lighting, and art direction.

Holiday Materials features 121 4K physically based rendering (PBR) materials designed to add surface detail and variety to festive 3D projects.
The collection covers a range of decorative finishes, textiles, and winter-inspired surfaces:
These materials give artists more flexibility when refining the appearance of suitable objects. Different finishes can help distinguish surfaces within a composition, introduce visual contrast, and complement the scene's lighting and color palette.
Holiday Workshop and Holiday Materials can be used separately or together, depending on the requirements of a project.
Build a complete holiday environment. Use the Holiday Workshop assets to create a wrapping station, toy workshop, or decorated fireplace setting. Adjust the arrangement to suit the intended composition.
Add seasonal details to existing scenes. Incorporate individual props, such as gift boxes, ornaments, nutcrackers, and stockings, without rebuilding an entire environment.
Refine surface appearance. Apply suitable Holiday Materials finishes to introduce variation in reflections, textures, and decorative surfaces.
Explore different art directions. Experiment with material combinations, object placement, lighting, and camera angles to develop alternative looks using the available assets.
Create seasonal marketing visuals. Use the collections as starting points for motion graphics, product visualization, promotional animations, and holiday campaign imagery.
For production teams working with tight deadlines, having ready-made models and materials available can reduce the need to create every decorative element individually. Artists can focus more of their time on composition, lighting, animation, and the specific creative requirements of the project.
According to the release information, the holiday collections support the following 3D applications:
For the materials, native shader networks are available for these render engines:
This compatibility provides options for artists working across different 3D applications and rendering workflows. Before incorporating the assets into a production pipeline, check the applicable software and renderer requirements for your setup.
Holiday Workshop and Holiday Materials are available through the Greyscalegorilla Library and the Greyscalegorilla + KitBash3D Everything Bundle. Both collections are delivered through Cargo, the desktop application used to access and send assets into supported creative workflows.
For artists who already use these libraries, the new collections offer additional resources for seasonal projects. Those considering a subscription can explore the available options through Motion Media, an authorized Greyscalegorilla reseller.
