If Magewell is on your IBC2026 itinerary, there are two new products worth putting on your list: Director Plus and Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K.
Magewell will be exhibiting at IBC2026 in Amsterdam from September 11–14, 2026, with live demonstrations at Hall 7, Stand 7.A30. The company will showcase its latest production, presentation, IP conversion, and video I/O solutions, including the new Director Plus and Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K.
For Motion Media customers evaluating Magewell equipment, the booth is particularly worth a visit if you're exploring more flexible production setups or looking for practical ways to connect IP video with existing HDMI and SDI infrastructure.
If you're planning your IBC2026 visit, we've also put together a broader IBC2026 Motion Media vendor guide covering participating vendors and their booth locations
Magewell is showcasing the Director Plus all-in-one production and presentation system, the Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K standalone IP decoder, and the Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K Module for Modator at IBC2026. The products address different parts of modern video workflows, from multi-source live production to IP video decoding and IP-to-12G-SDI connectivity.
| Product | What it does | Particularly relevant for |
| Director Plus | All-in-one production and presentation system with expanded 4K and IP source support | Live production, events, enterprise, education, sports, and presentations |
| Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K | Decodes IP video and provides simultaneous HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI outputs | Hybrid IP, SDI, and HDMI workflows |
| Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K Module | Brings IP-to-12G-SDI decoding to the Modator 2U platform | Centralized and higher-density rack installations |
As an authorized Magewell reseller, Motion Media is highlighting these products from a customer and workflow perspective: what they do, where they fit, and what production and AV teams may want to ask about when visiting the Magewell booth.
The Magewell Director Plus is the latest addition to Magewell's Director family of portable, all-in-one production and presentation systems. It is already shipping globally and will make its IBC debut at the 2026 show.
Director Plus is designed to bring multiple video sources, media, and network-based content into one production and presentation workflow.
It can ingest:
That combination gives production teams more flexibility when a project involves a mixture of traditional hardware sources and network-based video.
The appeal of Director Plus isn't simply the number of sources it can handle. Its broader value is the ability to combine source integration, production, presentation, recording, and streaming in a single system.
That can be useful for live events, sports, houses of worship, healthcare, enterprise, education, podcasts, and other production environments where workflows may change from one project to the next.
Director Plus also expands the ISO recording capabilities available in the Director family. It can support four simultaneous recordings from inputs or the program feed.
For production teams, that means the final live program doesn't have to be the only recording available after an event. Individual sources can provide additional material for editing, highlights, social content, or other post-production needs.
The system is also designed for hybrid and all-IP workflows, making it worth a closer look for teams that are incorporating more network-based sources into their productions.
The Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K takes a different approach. Rather than serving as an all-in-one production system, it is designed to decode IP video and connect it to HDMI and SDI equipment.
The standalone unit can decode IP streams up to 4Kp60 and provide simultaneous HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI outputs. It also supports HDR10 and HLG.
For facilities that are adopting IP video while continuing to use established SDI and HDMI equipment, that connection can be particularly useful.
The move toward IP video doesn't necessarily mean that an existing SDI infrastructure needs to be replaced all at once.
Many broadcast and AV environments operate with a mixture of technologies. They may have network-based video sources alongside cameras, monitors, switchers, routers, and other equipment that still relies on SDI.
The Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K provides a bridge between those environments, allowing compatible IP video to be decoded and delivered through HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI outputs.
The device supports a range of professional IP video and streaming technologies, including NDI, SRT, RTMP, RTSP, HLS, MPEG-TS, Zixi, and RIST. It can also support 4Kp60 decoding and multi-source HD workflows for monitoring and multiview applications.
For broadcast engineers, AV integrators, and facilities planning a gradual transition toward IP, the key question isn't simply whether to use IP or SDI. It's how the two can work together within the existing workflow.
That's one of the more interesting conversations to have with Magewell at IBC2026.
Although both products are being showcased by Magewell at IBC2026, they serve very different purposes.
Director Plus is a production and presentation system. It is designed to bring multiple video sources, media, and IP feeds into a flexible live production and streaming workflow.
Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K is an IP decoding solution. It is designed to receive IP video and deliver it through HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI outputs for integration with other production and AV equipment.
In simple terms:
Director Plus helps you produce and present content, while Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K helps you move IP video into an HDMI or SDI workflow.
That distinction can help narrow down which product is more relevant to your project before you visit the booth.
Magewell is also introducing the Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K Module, the ninth module in its expanding Modator lineup.
The module is designed for centralized deployments using the Magewell Modator 2U chassis, bringing the IP-to-12G-SDI decoding capabilities of the standalone Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K into a modular rack environment.
The module is scheduled to ship in October 2026.
For facilities managing multiple conversion and processing devices, the modular approach can provide a higher-density installation compared with deploying individual standalone units.
The module also works with Magewell's Control Hub management software. Magewell's enhanced Control Hub interface includes a preview function that allows users to monitor video through the web interface and Control Hub.
This makes the Modator version particularly relevant to facilities where centralized deployment, management, and monitoring are important considerations.
If you're visiting Hall 7, Stand 7.A30, don't just stop by for a product demonstration. If you're evaluating equipment for an upcoming project, IBC can be a useful opportunity to discuss your actual workflow with the Magewell team.
These questions can help turn a quick booth visit into a more productive conversation about your actual production environment.
Magewell will be exhibiting at Hall 7, Stand 7.A30 during IBC2026 at RAI Amsterdam from September 11–14, 2026.
Visitors can explore the Director Plus, Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K, Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K Module, and Magewell's broader lineup of video capture, streaming, conversion, and video I/O solutions.
