Greyscalegorilla has expanded Cargo to include its full library of Cinema 4D plugins and workflow scripts. Previously used to manage assets such as models, materials, HDRIs, and textures, Cargo now also serves as the central hub for installing and managing Greyscalegorilla's production tools.

The update was rolled out in mid-June and is available to eligible Greyscalegorilla Plus subscribers.

What's New in Cargo

With this update, users can access Greyscalegorilla's plugins and scripts from the same application they already use to manage their asset libraries. This simplifies installation, updates, and license management by keeping everything in one place.

The following plugins are now available in Cargo.

Signal

Signal is Greyscalegorilla's procedural animation plugin for Cinema 4D. It is used to create looping animations, stop-motion effects, synchronized movement, music-driven animation, and other motion graphics without relying entirely on manual keyframes.

HDRI Link

HDRI Link allows users to browse and apply HDRIs directly inside Cinema 4D, making it faster to test and switch lighting environments while working on a scene.

Align

Align helps position objects accurately inside the Cinema 4D viewport. It is designed to speed up layout work when arranging multiple objects.

Drop Zone

Drop Zone streamlines drag-and-drop workflows by automatically creating the appropriate tags for compatible Greyscalegorilla tools, including Signal, HDRI Link, and GorillaCam.

GorillaCam

GorillaCam adds natural camera movement to Cinema 4D scenes, making it easier to create handheld, drifting, or cinematic camera animation.

Light Kit Pro

Light Kit Pro provides a collection of ready-to-use studio lighting presets that help users build professional lighting setups more quickly for product visualization, motion graphics, and other rendering projects.

Renamer

Renamer automates the process of renaming objects, materials, layers, and takes, helping keep large Cinema 4D projects organized.

Social Frame

Social Frame displays common social media aspect ratios directly in the Cinema 4D viewport, making it easier to compose scenes for different publishing formats before rendering.
