The Shinobi GO 5.2in touchscreen HDR monitor presents a refined balance of portability and professional monitoring capability. Weighing just 210 g and measuring 151x91.5x20.8 mm (28.5 mm with the locking-cable adaptor), it slips easily into a camera bag or onto a lightweight rig and demands little of your setup. The edge-lit SuperAtom IPS panel delivers full-HD resolution at 1920x1080 and achieves up to 1500 cd/m2 brightness, making it highly usable even under direct sunlight or in bright outdoor shooting conditions. Its antireflective and anti-fingerprint finishes enhance durability and visibility in the field.
The monitor supports HDMI 1.4 input handling UHD 4K signals (up to 4K30) and offers professional-level image tools including waveforms, histograms, vectorscope, zebras, false colour and focus peaking. With support for .cube 3D LUTs (17- and 33-point) via SD card, you can load your creative looks and preview footage closer to final output. The AtomHDR mode handles over 10 stops of dynamic range, and the display supports SDR native, HLG, PQ, Rec.709 and user LUT monitoring modes, making it equally at home with stills cameras, hybrid setups and log workflows.
Power options are flexible: you can use a single Sony L-series/NP-F battery (sold separately) or USB-C PD input or output (up to 13 W) which lets you power a camera or use a power bank. For mounting versatility the unit has multiple 1/4-20 mounting points (including anti-twist holes) and shares accessories (such as sun-hoods, cables and mounts) with its sibling models, which simplifies gear compatibility. A locking HDMI/USB-C adaptor is supplied to help prevent accidental disconnects during active shoots. The remote calibration via LANC port supports Calibrite ColourChecker Display Pro/Plus+ via Mac/PC for reliable colour fidelity over time.
While this model forgoes some of the advanced features found in higher-tier monitors (such as on-device calibration, anamorphic de-squeeze, camera control via USB-C/LANC, EL ZONE monitoring and full 4K DCI support), it nonetheless brings the core monitoring tools that content creators, photographers and videographers require in the field, in a compact affordable package. The Shinobi GO is designed for users who value a high-quality daylight-viewable screen with advanced monitoring tools without the extra cost or weight of full recorder features.
Its slim profile, robust brightness, professional monitoring tool set and flexible power/mounting options make the Shinobi GO an ideal companion for creators on the move, small rigs, drones or gimbals, or as a trusted secondary monitor in a larger workflow.
