iZotope Equinox is a premium reverb plugin designed to serve both music and post-production workflows - whether you're shaping vocals, designing sound for film or immersive audio, or crafting atmospheric textures. It merges two legendary reverb engines, Stratus (natural, realistic spaces) and Symphony (character, creative coloration), into a single streamlined tool. With this dual-engine architecture, you get immense flexibility: from realistic halls and chambers to lush experimental reverbs.
One of Equinox's standout capabilities is its dynamic adaptive unmasking technology. This feature helps ensure that your reverb doesn't muddy up your dry signal: it intelligently "makes space" in the mix so that vocals, dialogue, or lead instruments remain clear, even under thick tails or dense ambience. This becomes especially powerful in surround or immersive audio formats, where clarity can easily degrade.
For immersive audio and multi-channel work, Equinox includes thorough support: surround, Atmos, and other immersive formats are built in. The Balance tab lets you automate and control reverb levels across channels, Early/Tail balance, height (where applicable), filters, delays, and more. This means whether you're producing for film, TV, music, or VR, you have tools to place your reverb exactly where it needs to be in space.
The plugin comes with over 1,250 presets, drawn from both Stratus and Symphony, covering styles from realistic to highly experimental. A revamped preset browser makes finding the right starting point fast: keyword search, multi-tag filtering, saving favorites, etc. Then, when you want deeper control, Equinox gives you plenty of parameters: decay/time, size, pre-delay, early reflection gain, tail suppression, chorus, gating, drive, filter sections, tone (global EQ tilt), and more.
Finally, for those who already use Stratus or Symphony, Equinox respects your prior settings: you can import existing presets and, in certain hosts like Pro Tools, replace instances of Stratus or Symphony in your sessions with Equinox without losing your settings. Compatibility is broad: available for Mac and Windows, in formats like VST3, AU, AAX, working with major DAWs. It's built for both expressive creativity and precision, aiming to give you huge depth, clarity, and spatial control in a modern reverb.

At Motion Media, our goal is to ensure your complete satisfaction with your purchase. If, for whatever reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you may return it to Motion Media within 30 days. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within three business days of receipt of merchandise.
Refunds on returned items will be issued in the same payment form as tendered at the time of purchase. If payment was made by credit card, once we receive the product we will credit your account. Please allow 7-10 days for a credit to appear on your credit card statement. If payment was made by check, please allow 10 business days for a refund check to be issued.
Please read all conditions below. If conditions are not met, Motion Media reserves the right to refuse the return or to charge a restocking fee of up to 25%.
How to return or exchange an item:
- In order to return an item you need to first obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
- To request an RMA number, please visit our contact page and send us an email with the request.
- To request an RMA number by phone, call Customer Service at 310-450-4000.
- Place the original package into a shipping carton.
- Include the invoice and the reason for the return. If defective, please specify the defect.
- Please do not place stickers or shipping labels on the original manufacturer's package.
- The RMA number must be clearly written on the outer box. If you received a label in the email, print the label and tape it to the carton.
- Ship via insured ground service with a tracking number. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

Rules:
- All returned or exchanged items must be in new condition,
unopened in the original box, and must include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals, and all accessories. 15% restocking fee on any opened items. If you are going to return, do not open the box. - 25% restocking fee on LitePanels, Anton Bauer and Sachtler returns.
- Motion Media is not responsible for personal data or items left in returned merchandise.
- Defective items may be repaired or exchanged at our discretion for the same model or manufacturer's equivalent model.
- RMA numbers are valid for 10 days.
- Motion Media is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale or use of any merchandise bought from us. We are responsible for the monetary value of the merchandise only.
