Not Sure What You Need Or If You're Looking At The Right Product?

INSYDIUM NeXus for Blender is a GPU-accelerated particle and simulation VFX toolset rebuilt from the ground up for Blender, bringing fluids, fire, smoke, and grains to life with real-time viewport feedback so artists spend less time waiting on simulations and more time creating.

At the core of NeXus for Blender is Theron, INSYDIUM's brand-new GPU simulation engine built on a modern Vulkan foundation with its own dedicated GPU compute core, rather than an adaptation of older code. Theron runs natively across NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel GPUs on Windows and Linux, and through Apple's Metal on macOS, giving artists the raw power and flexibility of a low-level GPU compute platform without being tied to a single hardware vendor.

Simulation tools cover particle constraints, dendritic growth structures, fire and smoke through ExplosiaFX, flocking behavior, and liquid and granular simulation with a choice of PBD, SPH, FLIP, and APIC solvers, along with foam generation and infection-style contagion spread between particles. Emission, meshing, and curve tools handle particle birth, mesh instancing, polygon mesh generation from emitters, and particle trails as viewport overlays or curves.

A comprehensive force library covers attraction, avoidance, drag, explosions, flow fields, gravity, splash cones, turbulence, vorticity, and wind, while motion and shaping tools handle blending, surface covering, layered direction and speed control, geometry scaling, and wave motion. Interaction and control tools include mesh collision, layered color control, particle culling, and per-particle conditional logic powered by Quill, an AI assistant that can help build question-and-answer logic.

NeXus for Blender runs on Blender 4.3 and above, including the 4.5 LTS release and Blender 5 and newer, on Windows, macOS, and Linux, and is delivered as a Blender extension that installs and updates directly from INSYDIUM's extension repository inside Blender. It requires a modern GPU with at least 4GB of VRAM, Vulkan 1.3 on Windows and Linux, or Metal 3 on macOS.
