HP Anyware is reaching end of life

Oct 31, 2029
HP Anyware end of life
Maintenance for multi-year terms ends. Until then: no new features and no guarantee of support for future operating systems.
May 7, 2026
HP Anyware end of sale
No new customers. Existing customers can still add seats and renew.
Using Wacom tablets over Anyware?
Wacom has told customers it can't guarantee HP's support after end of life and recommends evaluating its Wacom Bridge partners. Splashtop and Wacom developed Wacom Bridge together, so pressure, tilt and pen buttons carry over to the remote workstation.

Common Questions

Do I need PCoIP cards or zero clients?
No. Splashtop is software on the workstation, and users connect with the Splashtop app or from a web browser, so a laptop, desktop, iPad or Chromebook can replace a zero client.
Can I keep HP Anyware running while I test?
Yes. Splashtop installs alongside your existing setup, so you can compare both on the same workstation.
Which Splashtop plan do creative teams need?
Performance adds 4:4:4 color, remote stylus, Wacom Bridge and USB passthrough. Enterprise adds SSO, granular access controls, logging and an on-premise option. We will help you choose.
Will my Wacom tablet work?
Yes. Wacom Bridge, developed by Wacom and Splashtop, carries pressure, tilt and pen buttons to the remote machine.
What happens to our zero clients after Oct 31, 2026?
According to HP, they keep working on firmware 25.10 but receive no further updates, patches or support.
Is Splashtop secure enough for studio work?
Splashtop is ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC certified with 256-bit AES encryption. Enterprise adds SSO, MFA, session logging and IP allowlisting. Confirm specific studio security requirements during your trial.
